The model receives the new Volvo Sensus high-performance 160-watt system with seven-inch display, eight speakers, CD/MP3/DVD video function, and USB and iPod function. All models receive City Safety, heated seats, new steering wheel and instrument cluster dials, while the T6 receives new wheels and wood interior accents. The optional Adaptive Cruise Control is updated with a system that detects pedestrians and can operate the brakes if the driver does not respond. The XC70 comes with a choice of two engines. The 3.2 uses a 3.2-litre inline six-cylinder engine, while the T6 uses a turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine. Both use a six-speed automatic transmission and have all-wheel drive. Features on the 3.2 include 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, hill descent control, power rear door child locks, front and rear fog lights, heated mirrors with puddle lamps, front and rear skid plates, roof rails, privacy glass, heated T-Tec upholstery seats, power driver’s seat with memory, 40/20/40 split-folding second-row seat, tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, Volvo Sensus infotainment system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, compass, Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming, cargo cover, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, floor mats, auto up/down windows, variable intermittent wipers, rear washer/wiper, trip computer, and City Safety. The 3.2 Premier adds leather seats, power sunroof, power passenger seat, classic walnut wood inlays and dark-tinted rear windows. The 3.2 Premier Plus adds power tailgate, keyless drive with Personal Car Communicator, front and rear park assist, garage door opener, compass, cargo cover, grocery bag holder, 12-volt outlet in the cargo area, power-folding rear head restraints, and private locking. The 3.2 Platinum adds premium sound system, rearview camera and navigation system. The T6 builds on the 3.2 Premium and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, Sirius satellite radio, leather seats and dual chrome exhaust. The T6 Premier Plus adds power tailgate, keyless drive with Personal Car Communicator, front and rear park assist, garage door opener, compass, cargo cover, grocery bag holder, 12-volt outlet in the cargo area, power-folding rear head restraints, and private locking. The T6 Platinum adds premium sound system, rearview camera and navigation system.
