For 2011, the Volvo XC70 is redesigned into its third generation, with new engines, chassis design, better fuel economy, and interior and exterior styling.
The Convenience Package now includes electrical foldable rear head restraints, a new sunroof wind deflector, and a cargo cover that is no longer standard equipment. The Premium Sound speakers are now Harman, with no change in output, and the Multimedia Package adds a rearview camera.
The XC70 uses a 3.2-litre inline six-cylinder in the 3.2, and a 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder in the T6. Both use a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Features on the 3.2 AWD Level I include 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, hill descent control, power rear-door child locks, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, fading brake support, front and rear fog lights, heated mirrors with puddle lamps, front and rear skid plates, roof rails, privacy glass, aluminum interior accents, heated T-Tec upholstery seats, power driver’s seat with memory, 40/20/40 split-folding second-row seat, tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, CD stereo, 12-volt cargo area outlet, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, compass, Bluetooth connectivity, cargo cover, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirror, illuminated locking glovebox, floor mats, auto up/down windows, variable intermittent wipers, rear washer/wiper, and trip computer.
The 3.2 AWD Level II adds blind spot information system, level sensor, mass movement sensor, power sunroof, power passenger seat, garage door opener, humidity sensor, and power liftgate.
The T6 AWD adds 17-inch alloy wheels, Four-C Active Chassis, active headlights, heated rear seats, six-CD stereo, Sirius satellite radio, grocery bag holder, infrared rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking assist, and sunglass holder.
