For 2011, the Volvo V50 is offered only as the T5 in front-wheel drive, with 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine. The 2.4i with 2.4-litre five-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine has been discontinued, and the manual transmission on the T5 is not available. The T5 now comes in two trim lines.
A station wagon version of the S40 sedan, the V50 T5 uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine with five-speed automatic transmission.
Features on the Level I include 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, ?T-Tech? cloth seats, exterior temperature gauge, keyless entry, power rear-door child locks, cargo cover, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, CD/MP3 stereo, steering wheel-mounted audio control, and rear fog light.
The Level II adds 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, heated seats, garage door opener, puddle lamps, compass, trip computer, auxiliary input, iPod interface, aluminum interior trim, front fog lights, headlamp washers and power sunroof.
