After receiving significant upgrades last year, the 2013 Volvo S60 arrives with more available safety kit (optional), an updated City Safety system, and some styling additions including new 18-inch wheels and a new Rebel Blue paint shade.
The S60 comes as the T5, with 2.5-litre inline five-cylinder engine, and as the T6, with 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. The R-Design also uses the T6 engine. All use a six-speed automatic transmission. The T5 is front-wheel drive, while the T6 and R-Design are all-wheel drive. Trim lines are T5, T5 Premier, T5 Premier Plus, T5 Platinum, T6 AWD, T6 AWD Premier Plus, T6 AWD Platinum, T6 AWD R-Design, and T6 AWD R-Design Platinum.

T5 Premier Plus adds HomeLink, active dual xenon headlights, front and rear park assist, and compass in rear view mirror.
T5 Platinum adds rear park assist camera, 12-speaker 650W audio, and navigation.
T6 AWD adds (to T5 Premier) dynamic chassis, speed-sensitive steering with driver selectable modes, and all-wheel drive.
T6 AWD Premier Plus adds HomeLink, active dual xenon headlights, front and rear park assist, and compass in rear view mirror.
T6 AWD Platinum adds rear park assist camera, 12-speaker 650W audio, and navigation.
T6 AWD R-Design adds (to T6 AWD Premier Plus) rear spoiler- R-Design front fascia, rear diffuser, sport chassis, R-Design seats, and R-Design interior trim; removes dynamic chassis, leather shift knob, and front and rear park assist.
T6 AWD R-Design Platinum adds rear park assist camera, 12-speaker 650W audio, and navigation.
