An all-new model for 2011, the Volvo S60 receives a front-wheel drive T5 model. The R-Design Package is upgraded with a power boost of 25 horsepower and 29 lb.-ft. of torque.
The S60 comes as the T5, with 2.5-litre inline five-cylinder engine, and as the T6, with 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. The R-Design also uses the T6 engine. All use a six-speed automatic transmission. The T5 is front-wheel drive, while the T6 and R-Design are all-wheel drive. Trim lines are the T5A Level I, T5A Level II, T6 A AWD and T6 AWD R-Design.
Features on the T5A Level I include 17-inch alloy wheels, electronic climate control, keyless entry, basic alarm, power rear door child locks, T-Tec and textile seats with power driver’s adjustment and memory, power-folding rear head restraints, exterior temperature gauge, locking illuminated glovebox, cruise control, auto up/down windows, tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, trip computer, Bluetooth connectivity, CD/DVD/MP3 stereo with USB and auxiliary input, Sirius satellite radio, Volvo Sensus infotainment control with seven-inch touch-screen, graphite interior accents, heated mirrors, and front and rear fog lights.
The T5A Level II adds Personal Security Communicator with keyless drive, heated seats, power passenger seat, heated washer nozzles, rain-sensing wipers, steering wheel with décor inlays, bright exterior accents, and headlight washers.
The T6 A AWD adds City Safety, garage door opener, leather upholstery, auto-dimming rearview mirror, retractable exterior mirrors, sport steering wheel, and watch dial instrument cluster.
The R-Design adds 18-inch alloy wheels, R-Design sport seats, rear-seat pass-through, unique steering wheel, active bi-xenon headlamps, unique instrument cluster, sport suspension, front strut brace, sport pedals, R-Design grille, unique front and rear spoilers, and R-Design floor mats.
