NEW FOR 2015:
- Wolfsburg Edition marks last year of production for Eos.
After a less than stellar career, the Volkswagen Eos is set to retire with a Wolfsburg Edition replacing both the Comfortline and Highline trims. While the hardtop convertible didn't resonate with a large number of customers, the Eos did duty in an underserved segment with the discontinuation of the Sebring/200 convertible and provided people with at least one choice if they wanted a convertible without sporting intentions.
The Eos is available with just a single driveline configuration featuring a 200 hp, 207 lb-ft 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and six-speed DSG automatic transmission.
Standard features include 18-inch Vicenza alloy wheels, 12-way power driver seat including power lumbar support, alloy pedals, Bi-Xenon headlights with Adaptive Front-light System (AFS), Climatronic dual-zone electronic climate control, auxiliary input, Bluetooth Mobile Phone Connectivity, cruise control, CSC (coupe-sunroof-convertible) automatic folding hardtop, LED tail lights, auto-dimming rear view mirror, airbags (front, front seat), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front and rear floor mats, front fog lights, heated front seats and washer nozzles, KESSY keyless access with push-button start, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, LED signature daytime running lights, Media Device Interface (MDI) with iPod connectivity, multifunction trip computer, DSG paddle shifters, Premium 8 radio (6-disc CD changer, touchscreen and 8 speakers), rain-sensing wipers, Rear Park Distance Control (PDC), satellite radio, sport suspension, TPMS, two-tone colour Vienna leather comfort seats, wind blocker, and Wolfsburg Edition badge.
