For 2010, the Volkswagen Eos increases its list of standard or available features. All models receive park distance control, wind blocker and a new steering wheel, while the Highline adds 18-inch wheels, bi-xenon headlamps, and premium stereo that can be optioned on the Comfortline trim. The Highline also adds exclusivity with its own Bluetooth connectivity, ski bag and Vienna Leather sport seats.
Based on the Rabbit platform, the Eos uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder direct-injection engine, with six-speed manual transmission or optional six-speed automatic Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG). Its five-piece roof includes a heated rear window, and a panoramic glass sunroof that can be tilted or slid open when the roof is up. The panels separate and store themselves in the trunk in about 25 seconds.
