NEW FOR 2010:
- City Jetta discontinued
- 4-year/80,000 km Roadside Assistance replaces 4-year/unlimited mileage Roadside Assistance
For 2010, the City Jetta is discontinued, leaving only the City Golf, which carries on unchanged for a final year.
Originally introduced for 2007 as an inexpensive carryover model when the Golf (Rabbit) was redesigned, the City Golf is sold in Canada but not in the U.S.
It uses a 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder engine, mated to a five-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode, and comes in a single trim line.
Features include 15-inch steel wheels, variable intermittent wipers, rear washer/wiper, 12-volt power outlet, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and USB connector, manual seat adjustment, and tilt and telescopic steering wheel.
Available options include air conditioning, power sunroof, electronic stability control, side and curtain airbags, heated seats, and a "Comfort Package" that includes power windows and locks, alloy wheels, alarm system, cruise control and heated power mirrors.
