NEW FOR 2013: - New front and rear styling. - New interior seats five. - Bi-Xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights now standard. - New exterior colors, wheels, and trim available. - New LED taillights. - New R-Line option package available on Highline. VW’s halo sedan drops its “Passat” handle to become just the CC. This is a very fetching ride, utilizing the four-door-coupe design theme to great success. For 2013, the front and rear get restyled, the side sills are extended and there are a couple of new wheel designs. Previously only a four-seater, the CC’s back seat now fits three (in a pinch). Premium interior design and workmanship give the cabin an upscale ambience and, as with all Volkswagens, the driving experience combines engaging athleticism with a well-judged ride. The turbo-four is strong and frugal, but for the full CC experience, the top trim AWD V6 model on 18-inch alloys truly looks and feels like premium executive transportation. As mentioned above, two engines are offered for the CC and can be had with one of three transmissions: - 2.0L TSI 4-cylinder turbo gas engine with 200 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque with the choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic DSG transmission powering the front wheels. - 3.6L FSI V6 engine with 280 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque with only a 6-speed automatic powering all wheels with VW's 4MOTION system. In Sportline trim, features include 2.0l TSI engine, 6-speed manual transmission, 12-way power adjustable driver seat, 17-inch alloy wheels, auto-dimming mirror, automatic headlights, Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, Bluetooth phone integration, chrome exterior trim, automatic climate control, cruise control, airbags (front, front side, curtain), electronic parking brake, fog lights, heated front seats, LED taillights, MDI with iPod connectivity, multifunction trip computer, power heated side mirrors, 8-speaker premium audio with auxiliary input and satellite radio, push button start, rain sensing wipers, rearview camera, sport suspension, and TPMS. Highline adds 18-inch alloy wheels, brushed dark aluminum interior trim, Homelink, sport leather seating, memory driver seat and mirrors, and panorama vent sunroof. Highline V6 adds 3.6L V6 with 6-speed automatic transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive, 600-watt Dynaudio system with 10 speakers, power rear sunshade, and navigation. The optional R-Line package can be added to Highline or Highline V6 and includes unique 18-inch alloys and R-Line appearance package with sport steering wheel and paddle shifters.
