History/Overview
The Atlas Cross Sport is one of Volkswagen's newest models. It took the three-row Atlas and shortened the overall length while giving it a more curving rear roofline. That puts it in a small but popular segment of crossovers for buyers who want large interior space and the width they would have found in a full-size sedan, but with extra cargo space, SUV capability, and rugged style.

Available Trims
The Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is offered in Trendline, Comfortline, Highline, and Execline trims. All offer standard all-wheel drive, with Trendline getting a 235 hp 2.0L turbo-four and eight-speed automatic. All other trims offer the four or a 276 hp 3.6L V6.
Standard Features
Trendline comes with 18-inch alloys, tinted glass, and LED head and taillights. Inside are heated front seats with manual adjustment with infotainment from a 6.5-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Driver assistance includes blind spot monitor with rear traffic alert, front autonomous emergency braking, and pedestrian detection.
Comfortline adds an 8.0-inch screen with wireless phone connection as well as satellite radio. A power driver seat and leatherette seating and gear shift are included as is dual-zone climate, and a power tailgate. Parking sensors front and rear are added as is adaptive cruise control. Highline adds power tailgate with Easy Open, panoramic roof, and adds ventilation to the front seats and heating to the rear. Execline adds 360-view camera, road sign display, park assist, and Travel Assist. It also has 20-inch wheels, Fender Audio, and Volkswagen Digital Cockpit dashboard.
Key Options
The only major option for Atlas Cross Sport is the R-Line package with 21-inch wheels, black exterior and interior trim, and unique bodywork.

Atlas Cross Sport offers 11.7 L/100 km city, 10.0 highway with the 2.0L four or 13.8/10.4 with the V6.
