NEW FOR 2012: - 5.7-litre Double Cab Long Bed 4x2 adds standard rear privacy glass - 5.7-litre Regular Cab 4x4 available with Appearance Package - 4.6-litre Double Cab 4x4 available with Premium Package For 2012, the Toyota Tundra adds new features, including an Appearance Package on the Regular Cab 4x4 that adds 18-inch chrome-clad wheels, heated chrome mirrors, fog lights and upgraded audio system. The Tundra is available in Regular Cab, Double Cab, or CrewMax configuration. Bed lengths are standard (6-foot-5), long (8-foot-1) and short (5-foot-5). A 4.6-litre V8 is available in Double Cab configuration, while a 5.7-litre V8 is available in Regular, Double Cab and CrewMax configuration. Both engines use a six-speed automatic transmission and both come in two- or four-wheel drive. Regular Cab models come with long boxes in 4x2 configuration, and with standard or long boxes in 4x4 configuration. Double Cab models come with standard boxes in 4x2 and 4x4 configuration. CrewMax models come with short boxes and in 4x4 configuration only. Features on the standard trim models include 18-inch steel wheels, dual-zone manual climate control, full fabric seats, 40/20/40 split front bench, front passenger fold-down seatback, tilt steering wheel, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, vinyl floor with all-season mats, cruise control, digital clock, overhead sunglass storage, seat and side roll-sensing airbags, driver’s knee airbag, front tow hook, tire pressure monitoring system, heated mirrors, front and rear splash guards, Class IV trailer hitch, two-speed wipers, bed rail caps, cargo bed tie-downs, and removable locking tailgate. The SR5 packages add 18-inch alloy wheels, tie-down cleats, bed rail system, power locks with keyless entry, chrome grille and bumpers, carpeted floor with carpet floor mats, exterior temperature gauge, premium cloth upholstery, power windows with driver’s auto-down, silver-accented interior trim, sliding rear window, wheel locks and variable intermittent wipers. The Appearance Package builds on the SR5 and adds 18-inch chrome wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, XM satellite radio, USB port and chrome mirrors. The Upgrade Package builds on the Appearance Package and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, bucket seats and eight-way power driver’s seat. The TRD Off-Road Package builds on the Appearance Package and adds 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, Bongiovi Acoustics power station, garage door opener, skid plates, anti-theft system, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, front console box, front and rear Bilstein shocks, and rear privacy glass. The Leather Package builds on the Upgrade Package and adds 20-inch alloy wheels, front and rear sonar, manual headlight levelling, power sliding rear window, and heated leather seats. The Platinum Package builds on the Leather Package and adds heated and ventilated perforated leather seats, woodgrain and leather-wrapped steering wheel, woodgrain trim and auto up/down windows. The Navigation Package builds on the Platinum Package and adds four-disc CD changer, navigation system, XM Real Time Traffic and rearview camera.
