For 2011, the Toyota Sequoia is unchanged, except for a new exterior colour.
Based on the Toyota Tundra, the Sequoia uses a 4.6-litre V8 or 5.7-litre V8, both with six-speed automatic. All models use a part-time four-wheel drive system and feature three rows of seats. The 4.6-litre comes as the SR5; the 5.7-litre trim lines are the Limited and Platinum.
Features on the SR5 include 18-inch alloy wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, CD/MP3 stereo with USB and auxiliary input, XM satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, heated leather seats with ten-way driver and four-way passenger power adjustment, 40/20/40 split-folding second-row bench, 60/40 power-fold-flat third-row seat, power locks with keyless entry, power windows, power tailgate window, dual vanity mirrors, conversation mirror, auto-dimming rear-view mirror with integrated back-up camera and compass, tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, floor mats, cruise control, garage door opener, front and rear clearance sonar, driver and passenger knee airbags, anti-theft system, tire pressure monitoring system, front tow hook, rear privacy glass, power sunroof, roof rails with crossbars, front and rear splash guards, towing hitch, heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers with de-icer, intermittent rear wiper, fog lamps, and automatic headlamps with washers.
The Limited adds 20-inch alloy wheels, six-CD/MP3 stereo, driver’s side memory, power tailgate, Optitron gauges, dual illuminated vanity mirrors, rear sunshade, chrome door handles, rear spoiler, and power-folding, auto-dimming mirrors with integrated turn signals, puddle lamps, memory and reverse auto tilt.
The Platinum adds four-CD/MP3 stereo, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, perforated heated and ventilated leather seats, middle-row heated captain chairs, auto-dimming rear-view mirror with integrated compass, power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, woodgrain trim, dynamic laser cruise control, second-row centre console, XM Real-Time Traffic capability, DVD-based navigation screen with back-up camera, and 115-volt power outlet.
