NEW FOR 2011: - V6 models are 4WD only - New Touring Package available on base 2WD and 4WD models For 2011, the Toyota RAV4 now offers its V6 engine in 4WD models only; two-wheel drive is restricted to four-cylinder models. A new Touring Package is available for the base 2WD and 4WD models that adds a sunroof, XM satellite radio, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, privacy glass and a tonneau cover. The RAV4 comes with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder and four-speed automatic in two- or four-wheel drive, and with a 3.5-litre V6 and five-speed automatic in four-wheel drive. Trim lines are the Base, Sport and Limited. All are five-passenger models, but the V6 4WD can be ordered with a third row of seats, for a total of seven-passenger seating. Features on the base four-cylinder include 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, cloth upholstery, front bucket seats, 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat, keyless entry, front and rear splash guards, auto up/down driver’s window, Optitron gauges, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, floor mats, brushed metallic trim, cruise control, digital clock, map and cargo lamps, active front head restraints, moulded spare tire cover, variable intermittent wipers with de-icer, intermittent rear wiper, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, and upper and lower glove boxes. The base 4WD model uses 17-inch steel wheels. The Sport models add 18-inch alloy wheels, premium cloth upholstery, rear privacy glass, automatic headlamps, fog lamps, roof rails with crossbars, fender flares, power sunroof, and tonneau cover. The V6 models add downhill assist control and hill-start assist. The Limited models add 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, six-CD/MP3 stereo, XM satellite radio, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, eight-way power driver’s seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming rear-view mirror with integrated back-up camera, interior chrome trim, hard-shell spare tire cover, and Smart Key system with pushbutton start. The V6 models add downhill assist control and hill-start assist. Depending on the model, available options include heated leather seats, JBL audio, Bluetooth capability, and the new Sport Appearance Package.
