Model Overview
The mid-size Model S was Tesla's first mass-market car. Ostensibly a sedan, the Model S puts a small trunk up front and a practical hatchback over its rear cargo area, which can be optioned with a two-place third-row seat suitable for kids. Big power provides rapid acceleration, and is accompanied by the near-silence of the all-electric powertrain. The Model S is both high-tech and handsome, and points the way to an electric future.
