NEW FOR 2011:
- All-new model
An all-new model for 2011, the Suzuki Kizashi (pronounced Kee-Zah-Shee) is the company’s new sporty midsize sedan. While some Canadian publications list the Kizashi as a 2010 model, and it is sold that way in the U.S., Suzuki Canada delayed the sales launch until March 2010 as a model-year 2011.
The Kizashi uses a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine and is available in front- or all-wheel drive. On the S FWD and SX AWD, it uses a continuously-variable transmission (CVT). On the Sport, which is front-wheel drive, it uses a six-speed manual transmission.
Features on the S FWD include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, power windows with front auto up/down, keyless entry and pushbutton start, CD/MP3 stereo with USB and auxiliary input, leather-wrapped tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, driver information display, overhead console, floor mats, heated cloth seats, ten-way power driver’s seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seat with pass-through, rear seat side airbags, vanity mirrors, heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, and engine block heater.
The SX AWD adds 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps, fog lamps, leather upholstery, four-way power passenger seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, power sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, illuminated vanity mirrors, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, premium Rockford-Fosgate stereo, Bluetooth connectivity and rear parking sensor.
The Sport is similarly equipped to the SX and adds unique 18-inch alloy wheels, sport suspension, sport steering wheel with silver stitching, sport front bumper, fog lamp bezels and lower grille, sport side sill covers and door garnishes and rear spoiler.
