NEW FOR 2011:
- V6 models discontinued
- JLX and JLX-L add standard 18-inch alloy wheels
For 2011, the Suzuki Grand Vitara slims down to one engine, with the 3.2-litre V6 discontinued. The JLX and JLX-L models now receive 18-inch alloy wheels, as four-cylinder models had 17-inch wheels for 2010.
The Grand Vitara uses a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with four-speed automatic transmission. It uses a four-wheel drive system that can be locked into 4High or 4Low for off-road driving, along with a neutral setting that allows it to be flat-towed. Trim levels are the JX, JLX and JLX-L (leather).
Features on the JX include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, power windows with driver’s express-down, keyless entry, pushbutton start, CD/MP3 stereo with six speakers and auxiliary input jack, leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel with audio controls, pre-wiring for satellite radio, floor mats, premium cloth seats, height-adjustable driver’s seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, sliding front seat centre armrest with storage compartment, overhead console, automatic headlights, heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, fixed intermittent rear wiper, roof rails, hard spare tire case, and engine block heater.
The JLX adds 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, seven speakers with subwoofer, power sunroof, and heated seats.
The JLX-L adds leather seating surfaces.
