2014 Subaru BRZ

CHANGES FOR 2014:

-Voice-activated navigation with 6.1-inch touchscreen, stereo, Bluetooth with text messaging capability, auxiliary and USB inputs

-Satellite radio included with three-month subscription

-Auxiliary and USB inputs moved from glove box to centre console

Subaru's only two-wheel drive model carries forward into 2014 with no major changes. The BRZ is a twin to the Scion FR-S and uses a 2.0L four-cylinder boxer engine making 200 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices are a six-speed manual transmission, and an optional six-speed automatic; a Torsen limited-slip differential is standard.

Trims are the base model and the uplevel Sport-Tech package.

Standard kit in the base BRZ includes six-speed manual transmission, performance-tuned suspension, four-wheel vented disc brakes with anti-lock, electronic brake force distribution and brake assist, six airbags, engine immobilizer and anti-theft system, limited slip differential, traction and stability control, 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic bi-Xenon headlights with manual levelling, LED daytime running lights, accent lighting and taillights, brake override system, heated power-adjustable body-colour side mirrors, air conditioning, tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, navigation, Bluetooth with voice activation and streaming audio, satellite radio, eight-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA/DivX, WMV, MP4 stereo, multifunction trip computer, steering wheel-mounted cruise control, illuminated ignition keyring, 12-volt power outlet in centre console, window indexing, flat-folding rear seat, aluminum alloy sport pedals, leather-wrapped shifter, steering wheel and parking brake handle and black cloth upholstery with red stitching.

Moving up to Sport-Tech trim adds heated front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, fog lights, dual illuminated visor-mounted vanity mirrors, intelligent keyless entry with pushbutton start, black leather upholstery with red stitching, low-profile rear spoiler and front door courtesy lights.
