NEW FOR 2011: - Redesigned model For 2011, Saab returns to the Canadian marketplace. The Saab 9-5 is redesigned, with new engines, styling and features. The 9-5 comes with two engines, both turbocharged: a 2.0-litre four-cylinder and a 2.8-litre V6. The four-cylinder uses a six-speed manual transmission in the Turbo4 and a six-speed automatic in the Turbo4 Premium; both are front-wheel drive. The V6 comes as the Turbo6 XWD and Aero, with six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. Features on the Turbo4 include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED taillights, fog lights, leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, eight-way heated leather seats, driver’s side memory, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, keyless entry with pushbutton start, electronic parking brake, auto up/down windows, cooled glove box, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors, cruise control, AM/FM/MP3 stereo with USB port, OnStar, Bluetooth connectivity, XM satellite radio, rain-sensing wipers, front and rear reading lamps, and tire pressure monitoring system. The Turbo4 Premium adds 18-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, headlamp washers, proximity key, remote start and power-folding mirrors. The Turbo6 adds sport suspension and ventilated rear brake discs. The Aero adds driver-selectable chassis settings, electronic limited-slip rear differential, bi-xenon headlamps with signature front lighting, sport front and rear fascias, alloy pedals, and perforated leather upholstery.
