CHANGES FOR 2015:
-No changes
Following its introduction as a 2014 model, the Ram ProMaster cargo van moves into 2015 unchanged.
A fruit of Chrysler's relationship with Fiat, the ProMaster is a rebadged version of a van produced through a joint venture between Fiat and PSA Peugeot Citroen.
Engine choices include Chrysler's own 3.6L Pentastar V6, making 280 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, and a Fiat four-cylinder turbodiesel good for 174 hp and 295 lb-ft. The V6 comes with a six-speed automatic, while the diesel gets a six-speed, single-clutch automated manual that can be shifted manually, but does the work itself when left alone.
ProMaster is sold in a single trim, but in three body types (cargo van, chassis cab and cutaway), three wheelbases, four overall lengths and two roof heights.
Standard equipment includes the 3.6L engine and automatic transmission, four-way adjustable driver's seat, 12-volt power outlet, air conditioning, four-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo, cargo area light, cloth bucket setas, media hub with USB and auxiliary inputs, power door locks and power front windows with one-touch down, remote USB port, sliding right-side door, trip computer, 16-inch steel wheels, dark grey grille, fascia and rear bumper, manual foldaway mirrors, hill start assist, trailer sway control, four-wheel disc brakes (heavy duty on high-roof, window, chassis and cutaway models), keyless entry, telescopic steering column and tire pressure monitoring.
