For 2013, the only upgrade for the Ram Cargo Van is the addition of trailer swap damping.
The Ram Cargo is effectively a Grand Carava, with the same 3.6-litre V6 with six-speed automatic transmission, sans windows (as standard, they can be added) and rear seats and sporting a slightly different grille. There is only a single trim line with numerous options.
Features include flat load floor, left rear quarter trim storage bin, front rubber floor covering, overhead console, solid rear doors/quarter panels and liftgate, power heated mirrors, air conditioning with dual zone automatic temperature control, dual glove boxes, power locks and front windows, interior cargo observation mirror, black grille/door handles/bodyside moulding, cruise control, Uconnect 130 CD/MP3 audio with two speakers, lower instrument panel cubby bin, steering wheel mounted audio and cruise controls, commercial tuned suspension, tilt/telescopic steering, 16-inch steel wheels, airbags (front, front seat, side curtain, driver's knee), four wheel disc brakes with ABS, TPMS, trailer swap damping, and keyless entry with Sentry Key engine immobilizer.

Certain vehicles may experience front passenger side curtain and/or seat airbag inadvertent deployments, due to a resonance at the rear quarter panel sensor that can be aggravated by aftermarket installed roof racks & associated ladders/equipment. Unintended airbag deployment, in a non-warranted (non-impact) situation, could startle the driver, which could result in a vehicle crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will update the Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module software.
