2022 Ram 4500

Issue: On certain trucks or chassis-cabs equipped with a 6.7 L Cummins diesel engine, the intake air heater relay could short circuit. This could happen even when the vehicle is parked and the ignition switch is in the off position. Note: Trucks repaired under recall 2021-138 will also require this repair. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. FCA recommends that you should park your vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed.
