Model Overview
How do full-size truck brands appeal to fans of their current truck when it's time to roll out a new design? Ram's answer is to simply keep selling the old truck alongside the new one, and renaming it the 1500 Classic. More attractive pricing and a slimmer range of trims are aimed at buyers looking for utility instead of luxury and high-tech gadgets. The 1500 Classic also leaves out the newer model's mild-hybrid powertrains.
