NEW FOR 2011:
- V6-powered Panamera and Panamera 4
- Standard floor mats, Bluetooth connectivity and iPod interface
Having been introduced as an all-new model for 2010, the Panamera adds two V6-powered models alongside its existing V8 offerings: the Panamera and Panamera 4. The new models mark Porsche’s first use of a V6 in a production car. The existing Panamera S, Panamera 4S and Turbo each receive new standard floor mats, Bluetooth and iPod interface.
The four-door Panamera comes as the Panamera and Panamera 4, with 3.6-litre V6; the Panamera S and Panamera 4S, with 4.8-litre V8; and Panamera Turbo, with twin-turbocharged 4.8-litre V8. The 4, 4S and Turbo are all-wheel drive. All use a seven-speed PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe) double-clutch transmission. An auto start-stop function shuts off the engine at idle, as a hybrid does, for improved fuel economy.
Features on the Panamera include 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto start-stop function, tire pressure monitoring system, electric parking brake, variable door stop, power-closing trunk, power sunroof, adaptive rear spoiler, water-repellent front windows, auto up/down windows, keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers, heated washer nozzles, heated power-folding mirrors, auto-dimming exterior and rear-view mirrors, rear park assist, trip computer, cruise control, garage door opener, Bluetooth connectivity, universal audio interface, navigation system, CD/DVD stereo, automatic bi-xenon headlamps with washers, LED daytime running lights and brake lights, interior lighting package, trip computer, outside temperature display, front knee airbags, rear side airbags, eight-way power partial-leather seats, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, tilt and telescopic three-spoke multifunction leather-wrapped sports steering wheel, cargo cover, and alarm system.
The Panamera 4 is similarly equipped.
The Panamera S adds bi-xenon headlamps with automatic dynamic range control and adaptive lighting, and heated front seats.
The Panamera 4S is similarly equipped.
The Turbo adds 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive air suspension with load-levelling system and adjustable ride height, red brake calipers, turbo-specific front air intakes, titanium-coloured rear air diffuser, adaptive rear spoiler, twin-tube tailpipes, Bose Surround Sound system, adaptive headlamps, 14-way power full leather seats with memory package, rear heated seats, power tilt and telescopic multi-function wheel, leather-trimmed dashboard, and Alcantara headliner.
