Model Overview
The Porsche Cayenne may have generated a lot of controversy at its early 2000s launch, but it proved -- almost single-handedly -- that there's a market for fast, upscale SUVs: the Cayenne now outsells all of Porsche's car models combined. Porsche was also an early adopter of high-performance PHEV tech in this segment. Between its sporty speed and comfortable, modern interior, it's no wonder the Cayenne has taken the SUV world by storm.

Love my vehicle

Beautiful vehicle beautiful ride. Love the size and comfort. Great vehicle. Reliable. Looks great and drives great. Has a fabulous roar when started. Well manufactured with a good warranty. But rides so well not sure warranty will be required. Here’s hoping. Love the heated and cooling seats in front and back. Great full sunroof. Has screens for the back windows which is nice for people in back seat not fighting the sunshine streaming in. Very good storage in back. Accessibility is fantastic. Easy to park. Very user friendly GPS system. Seats fold down very reqdilly if hauling larger items in trunk which is very nice. Sound system is pretty good. This vehicle has great pick up making lane changes and passing very comfortable. I really enjoy driving this beautiful luxury SUV.

On certain vehicles, the rear wheel alignment was not checked during recall AMA9 (Transport Canada Recall 2021-236). As a result, the steering could pull to one side or another and the tires could wear unevenly. If you continue to drive the vehicle in this condition, there may be reduced traction. Eventually, a tire could fail and lose air pressure.
Safety Risk:
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect and adjust the rear wheel alignment, as necessary. Additionally, the dealer will inspect the rear tires for premature and uneven wear due to this issue, and replace them if necessary.

On certain vehicles, the red brake wear warning light may not come on when the brake pads require replacement. This can happen when the instrument cluster display is set to the Map or Night Vision mode. Canadian regulations require the warning indicator to stay on when the brakes are worn.

On certain vehicles, the transmission shifter could detach from the transmission. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears when the shifter is moved. As a result, the transmission could be in a different gear than the gear shifter indicates. If a driver attempts to exit the vehicle while the transmission is not in Park, and the parking brake is not applied, the vehicle could move suddenly.

Sudden and unexpected movement of the vehicle could increase the risk of a crash.

On certain vehicles, a circlip at the brake pedal hinge may not have been installed at the time of assembly. This could allow the pivot pin to move out of position, which would allow the pedal to wobble, and could fracture the brake pedal pivot through continued use. A fractured hinge would allow the pedal to separate from its pivot, which could lead to impaired brake function and increase stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. On certain vehicles equipped with a V6 engine, a fuel line in the plenum area may contact the rear engine compartment cover. Overtime, relative movement of the involved components can cause chaffing damaged, which may result in a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and reroute the fuel line. Should the fuel line exhibit damage, it would be replaced.
