History/Overview
The Polestar 2 is the second car from the performance brand that started off as a race team, became Volvo's performance arm, and is now making its own cars. This is the brand's first full EV, and it offers Volvo-like style with performance unique to the brand.

Available Trims
Just one version is available for 2021, the Long Range Dual Motor that has all-wheel drive and makes 408 hp.
Standard Features
Standard features include 19-inch wheels and pixel LED lights with active bending. The cabin uses sustainable and vegan materials as well as recycled wood. An 11.15-inch infotainment screen runs an Android operating system that also controls the 12.3-inch digital dash. Heated front seats are standard as is Harman Kardon audio. The Pilot Package is included and contains Pilot Assist driver aids, adaptive cruise, blind spot assist, cross traffic alert, and more. The Plus package includes full power seats, heated rear seats, and fixed panoramic roof.
Key Options
Options include choice of colour, an optional leather interior, and the Performance pack that adds Ohlins dampers, gold-coloured Brembo calipers, gold seatbelts, and performance summer tires on 20-inch wheels.
Fuel economy
The Polestar 2 has an estimated 375 km range and can charge at up to 150 kW.
Competition
The Polestar 2 competes with the Tesla Model 3, BMW i4, and Volvo C40 Recharge.
