The Titan is Nissan's go at a full-size pickup. Taking on the Big Three Detroit automakers on their home turf at their most popular product. This is the second-generation of Nissan's big pickup. If it's not enough truck for you, the brand has the slightly more heavy-duty Titan XD that might be more your speed.
New This Year
The Titan gets an extensive makeover for 2020 that includes new sheetmetal up front and a 5.6L V8 that's been retuned and is the most powerful stock V8 in the class. The refresh also sees a new interior with more technology and larger in-dash and infotainment screens plus improvements in the interior trim and materials.
Available Trims
Nissan sells the 2020 Titan only as a four-door crew cab, and only with four-wheel drive. It comes in six trim levels, S, SV, SV Premium, off-road Pro-4X and Pro-4X Luxury, and top-level Platinum.
Standard Features
The Titan S comes with an 8.0-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard, as well as a 7.0-inch digital dash display. It has AC and power windows and locks as well as push-button ignition. There's a bench seat in the front and one in the rear, both with cloth trim. The S has Nissan's suite of driver aids including driver alertness, lane departure warnings, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection and emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot warnings.
SV adds 18-inch alloy wheels, radar cruise control, a spray-on bedliner, and a tow hitch receiver as well as a bed-mounted channel track system of cargo tie-downs. SV Premium adds keyless entry, remote start, front captains chairs with power-adjust driver seat and a 9.0-inch infotainment screen.
Pro-4X comes with dark-finished alloy wheels and all-terrain tires as well as skidplates for the radiator and transfer case. Bilstein off-road shocks and an electronic locking rear differential make it more off-road capable and it includes a Fender 12-speaker audio system.
Pro-4X Luxury adds leather seats with special embroidery and contrast stitching, a dual-pane moonroof, surround-view cameras, and heated and ventilated front seats.
The Platinum trim doesn't have the Pro-4X's off-road features but adds 20-inch dark alloys, the dual-panel roof, premium leather seating, surround view camera, and chrome running boards. It, too, has heated and ventilated front bucket seats, and adds open-pore wood trim.

Fuel Economy
Estimates for the Nissan Titan are 15.1/11.1 L/100 km (city/highway). The Pro-4X gets the same city but 11.2 highway.
Competition
The competition amongst pickup trucks is tight, and this one does battle with the Toyota Tundra, Ford F-150, Ram 1500, GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado.
