For 2011, the Nissan Armada receives a new package for eight-passenger seating, in addition to the regular seven-passenger configuration. The package also adds a navigation system that is optional on the seven-passenger model.
Based on the Nissan Titan pickup truck, the Armada uses the Titan’s 5.6-litre V8 with a five-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive with two-speed electronic transfer case.
Standard features include 20-inch chrome-clad alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear air conditioning, auto-leveling rear suspension, automatic headlamps, fog lights, oil pan skid plate, front and rear sonar system, dual front tow hooks, tow receiver with seven-pin connector, power-folding chrome mirrors with driver’s auto-dimming, integrated turn signals and puddle lamps, chrome roof rack with crossbars, power sunroof, rear privacy glass, power liftgate with flip-up window, tire pressure monitoring system, rear-view monitor, Bluetooth connectivity, garage door opener, Intelligent Key with pushbutton start, auto up/down front windows, power-adjustable pedals, cruise control, tilt heated leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, speed-sensitive variable intermittent wipers, foot well lighting, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, compass, external temperature display, dual illuminated vanity mirrors, wood trim, eight-way driver and four-way passenger power heated leather seats, driver’s side memory, fold-flat second-row captain’s chairs, power-folding 60/40 third-row seat, lockable front centre console, Bose six-CD/MP3 stereo, XM satellite radio, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and anti-theft alarm.
The eight-passenger package adds a second-row fold-flat 40/20/40 bench seat, hard drive-based navigation system with touch screen and voice recognition, compact flash card reader and 9.3-GB Music Box.
