For 2013, the Altima sedan enters its fifth generation as the sedan and coupe become separate models for one model year.
Engine options stay the same - a 2.5-litre four-cylinder (182 hp/180 lb-ft) or 3.5-litre V6 (270 hp/251 lb-ft) - though the smaller of the two engines has been completely redesigned. All manual transmission options have been axed in favour of standard continuously-variable units.
Features on the 2.5 sedan include dual exhaust, Bluetooth phone connectivity, 16-inch steel wheels, fog lights, LED CHMSL, cloth seating, "Zero Gravity" bucket seats, 6-way manual driver seat, 4-way manual passenger seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, 4-speaker AM/FM/CD audio, 4-inch LCD vehicle information display, push-button start, auto up/down driver window, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, ABS, Vehicle Dynamic Control, traction control, and TPMS.
2.5 S trim adds 6-speaker AM/FM/CD audio with USB port, auto on/off headlights, hands-free text messaging assistant, and Nissan Intelligent Key.
2.5 SV trim adds 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, 17-inch alloy wheels, heated seats, 6-way power driver seat, speed sensitive audio volume, auto up/down front passenger window, and dual-zone climate control.
2.5 SL trim adds heated steering wheel, mirror-mounted LED turn signals, LED taillights, leather seating, 8-way power driver seat with power lumbar, rear seat headrests, 9-speaker Bose audio system, compass, power folding mirrors, HomeLink, rear heating/cooling vents, and wood-tone and metallic interior finishes.
3.5 SV trim adds (to 2.5 SV) 18-inch alloy wheels, mirror-mounted LED turn signals, compass, power folding mirrors, HomeLink, sunroof, and cargo net.
3.5 SL trim adds (to 2.5 SL) 18-inch alloy wheels.
