NEW FOR 2014:
- No changes.
Nissan’s legendary sports car gets carries over into model year 2014. Last year, it was revised with a handful of visual tweaks, revised suspension tuning, and a slight adjustment in equipment and levels.
With a burly 332-hp 3.7-litre V6 under the hood and a choice of a close-ratio six-speed manual or a seven-speed paddleshift automatic, the 370Z makes its mark as one of the last remaining traditional sports cars. Its balanced front-mid chassis, communicative steering, and plenty of grip makes it one of the best handling vehicles for less than $40,000. Opt for the Sport package which adds upgraded brakes, high-performance summer tires, and SynchroRev Match that bangs out perfect rev-matched downshifts and the 370Z can make any driver feel like a hero. For some, this will more than make up for the fact that the cabin is starting to feel dated and the powertrain lacks refinement.
The 370Z is offered in Coupe and Convertible body styles, both of which come exclusively in Touring trim.
Features on the Coupe Touring include staggered width 18-inch wheels, limited-slip rear differential, automatic HID headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights, power heated mirrors, solar glass, proximity key with push-button start, climate control, Bluetooth, ancillary gauges (oil temperature, voltmeter, digital clock), electroluminescent instrument cluster with multi-function trip computer, power windows, power locks, cruise control, garage door opener, dual 12-volt power outlets, tilt steering column with integrated gauges, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, sun visor extenders, dash-mounted storage, parcel box, rear cargo cover, leather upholstery, eight-way adjustable driver’s seat, heated seats, power seats, synthetic suede door trim, leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob and parking brake, aluminum pedals, eight-speaker Bose audio system with AM/FM/six-disc CD changer/MP3, satellite radio, aux-in jack.
The Sport with Navigation Package adds euro-tuned sport suspension, Nissan sport brakes, SynchroRev Match for manual transmission, 19-inch Rays forged alloy wheels, 7.0-inch navigation display, reverse camera, USB port, aux-in jack. Deletes in-dash six-disc CD changer and in-dash storage. Coupe variant adds rear spoiler and front chin aero deflector.
Roadster Touring features the content in the Coupe Touring and adds power convertible top with glass window, rear wind deflector, power storage cover, ventilated front seats. Deletes rear cargo cover.
