NEW FOR 2015:
-adds ES Plus model with air conditioning, keyless entry, Bluetooth and power rear windows
-SE gets last year's Convenience Package as standard
Following its anticlimactic debut as a 2014 model, Mitsubishi's tiny Mirage returns for 2015 with a new trim line and more standard equipment for its top trim. Power is from a 1.2L three-cylinder engine with 74 hp and 74 lb-ft of torque. All trims come standard with a five-speed manual transmission; a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is optional.
Trim levels include ES, ES CVT, ES Plus and SE.
Standard equipment includes a driver's knee airbag (for a total of six airbags), 14-inch steel wheels with covers, auto-off headlights, power-adjustable side mirrors, black outside door handles and mirror housings, rear spoiler, four-way manual driver and passenger seats, 60/40 split folding rear seat, black interior door handles, black instrument panel and door trim, floor mats, rear-seat heater floor ducts, power front windows with auto up/down driver's glass, four-speaker stereo, and multifunction trip computer.
ES CVT trim adds the automatic transmission.
ES Plus reverts to the manual transmission, and adds air conditioning, air filtration, Bluetooth, keyless entry, power rear windows, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
SE trim tops the line and includes 14-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, heated side mirrors, body-colour outside door handles and mirror housings, heated front seats, six-way adjustable driver's seat, leather-trimmed steering wheel and shifter, silver-accent gauge cluster and chrome inside front door handles.
