Changes to the ES include standard electronic stability and traction control, an auxiliary input jack and 16-inch alloy wheels in place of steel ones. There is also new seat fabric, improved styling on the grille and side air dams, and black bezel headlamps previously found on the GT. The Galant uses a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with four-speed automatic transmission and manual shift mode. Features include 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, auto-off headlamps, variable intermittent wipers, mesh grille, heated body-colour mirrors, electronic brake force distribution, cruise control, floor mats, auto-down driver’s window, keyless entry, six-way manual driver’s seat, rear seat pass-through, tire pressure monitoring system, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, and tilt steering wheel.
