Mini introduced the Cooper five-door in 2015 to make this subcompact hatch more practical. It's a little bigger and roomier than the three-door, but no less entertaining to drive. The real performance is found in S and JCW trims, but any Cooper five-door handles like it's on rails. There's a long list of convenience and personalization options, and you can add upscale features normally not common in subcompact cars.
