The little Mercedes-Benz SLK roadster moves into 2015 unchanged. Trims start with the SLK 250, which uses a 1.8L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 201 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque that can be paired with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. Up from that is the SLK 350, powered by a 3.5L V6 making 302 hp and 273 lb-ft and mated to a seven-speed auto, and the top choice is the SLK 55 AMG with its 5.5L V8 generating 415 hp and 398 lb-ft and also paired with the seven-speed automatic.
Standard kit in SLK 250 models includes artico upholstery, halogen projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, power-folding mirrors, Bluetooth and MP3 integration, auto-dimming driver's side and rearview mirror, ambient lighting, attention assist, sport suspension, alarm system, garage door opener, 17-inch wheels, manual climate control, electric parking brake, and black fixed rollover bars.
Moving up to SLK 350 trim brings AMG styling, cross-drilled brake rotors, aluminum pedals, bi-xenon headlights, dynamic handling package, media interface, dual-zone automatic climate control, power front seats with memory, leather upholstery, 18-inch wheels, and co start/stop.
SLK 55 AMG models add sport exhaust with quad oval chrome tailpipes, sport suspension, analog clock, Nappa leather upholstery AMG cylinder management, adaptive highbeam assist, and trunklid spoiler.
