Going into 2013, the SLK-Class gets some minor updates, mainly to interior features, as well as Adaptive Highbeam Assist and ECO Start/Stop on some models.
The SLK-Class is available in three different models: as the SLK250, powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine (201 hp/229 lb-ft), with either six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmissions; as the SLK350, powered by a 3.5-litre DOHC V6 engine (302 hp/273 lb-ft), with seven-speed automatic transmission; or as the SLK55 AMG, powered by a 5.5-litre DOHC V8 engine (415 hp/398 lb-ft), with a seven-speed AMG Speedshift Plus automatic transmission.
Features on the SLK250 include ARTICO upholstery, LED daytime running lights and tail lights, power folding mirrors, Audio 20 with Bluetooth and MP3 integration, auto dimming mirrors, ATTENTION ASSIST, sport suspension, six-speed manual transmission (seven-speed automatic available as an option), anti-theft alarm system, integrated garage door opener, 17-inch 5-spoke wheels, THERMATIC single zone climate control, electronic parking brake, and black fixed rollover bars.
The SLK350 adds AMG styling, cross-drilled brake rotors, aluminum sport pedals, bi-xenon headlamps, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, dynamic handling package, media interface, dual zone climate control, power front seats w/ memory package, leather upholstery, 18-inch AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels, ECO Start/Stop, and seven-speed automatic transmission.
The SLK55 AMG adds AMG sports exhaust system, AMG sports suspension, Nappa leather upholstery, AMG cylinder management, controlled efficiency Stop/Start mode, trunk lip spoiler, and AMG-tuned seven-speed automatic transmission.
