NEW FOR 2012: - Redesigned model For 2012, the Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class roadster is completely redesigned into its third generation. The model launches with the company’s all-new direct-injection 3.5-litre V6, mated solely to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The model includes a limited Edition 1 trim line to mark the new generation. It is also available as the SLK250, with a turbocharged 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission, and as the SLK55AMG, with 5.5-litre V8 engine and seven-speed automatic. Standard features on the SLK350 include 18-inch AMG alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, power retractable hardtop, Agility Control suspension, Dynamic Handling package, Bluetooth connectivity, iPod interface, CD/MP3 stereo, rain-sensing wipers, heated windshield washers, active bi-xenon headlamps, LED daytime running lights and taillights, AMG front and rear aprons and side skirts, power-folding mirrors, ten-way adjustable heated leather seats with memory, power-adjustable leather-wrapped multifunction sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, aluminum sport pedals, aluminum trim, auto up/down windows, SmartKey remote, and Attention Assist. The Edition 1 includes 18-inch AMG bi-colour wheels, parking guidance, analogue clock, Airguide with aluminum roll-bar inlay, Airscarf, panoramic Vario roof, Sirius satellite radio, Harman/Kardon Logic7 surround sound system, navigation system, Keyless Go proximity key, aluminum trim, pearl and black Nappa leather, and Glaicer Grey Magno paint scheme.
