For 2010, changes to the Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class are in trim. There are 25 units of the 2LOOK Edition for Canada, featuring a contrasting black/white theme throughout: calcite white or obsidian black metallic paint, headlamps with black surrounds, white Nappa leather upholstery with black edging, transparent draft-stop, white contrast stitching on the steering wheel, 2LOOK Edition floor mats, and white interior trim, along with AMG body styling and 18-inch AMG wheels.

Changes to the standard models include a Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, HD radio availability with Sirius satellite radio (although coverage is still very limited in Canada), the stereo's ability to accept SDHC cards, and a new function on the navigation system that finds the best route in terms of fuel economy. The SLK350 also adds standard AMG body styling and wheels. Pricing is unchanged from 2009.

The SLK-Class consists of three models: the SLK300, with 3.0-litre V6 engine and six-speed manual or optional seven-speed automatic transmission; the SLK350, with 3.5-litre V6 and six-speed manual or optional seven-speed automatic; and the SLK55 AMG, with 5.5-litre V8 and AMG Speedshift seven-speed automatic.

All models are rear-wheel drive, and all use a power retractable hardtop that opens or closes in 22 seconds.

Features on the SLK300 include 16-inch alloy wheels, Thermatic dual-zone automatic climate control, Direct Control sport suspension, six-CD/MP3 stereo, auxiliary input, Bluetooth connectivity, rain-sensing wipers, leather sport seats, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, aluminum trim, auto up/down windows, auto-dimming rearview and exterior mirrors, cruise control, garage door opener, SmartKey keyless entry, anti-theft alarm, first-aid kit, and TeleAid emergency calling.

The SLK350 adds 18-inch alloy wheels, Thermotronic dual-zone automatic climate control, bi-xenon headlamps with washers and cornering lights, AMG skirt package, perforated front brake discs, and heated leather sport seats.

The SLK55 AMG adds media interface, Harman/Kardon Logic7 Surround Sound system, Sirius satellite radio, COMAND APS with hard-drive navigation, music register and SD memory slot, voice control, ten-way power-adjustable heated Nappa leather seats with three-position memory, steering wheel shift paddles, Airscarf heater system, fabric wind screen, and power tilt and telescopic steering column with memory.

The SLK300 and SLK350 can be optioned with such items as navigation system, Harman/Kardon sound system, power seats, heated steering wheel, wood trim, Airscarf and fabric wind screen, while the SLK55 AMG can be optioned with AMG sport suspension, composite front brakes, leather and Alcantara steering wheel, and carbon fibre trim.
