One of Mercedes-Benz's most popular models, the mid-size M-Class crossover moves into 2014 with minor changes to standard and optional features lists. Trim levels include ML 350 BlueTEC (3.0L turbodiesel V6; 240 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque), ML 350 4 MATIC (3.5L gasoline V6; 302 hp/273 lb-ft), ML 550 4MATIC (4.6L biturbo V8; 402 hp/443 lb-ft), and ML 63 AMG (5.5L biturbo V8; 518 hp/516 lb-ft in standard form, or 550 hp/560 lb-ft with the AMG Performance package). All engines are paired with 4MATIC all-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission.
ML 350 and 550 models come standard with electromechanical power steering, AMG styling package, LED daytime running lights and taillights, cross-drilled brake rotors, sunroof, power-folding side mirrors, steering wheel shift paddles, memory package with power steering column adjustment and power lumbar support, ambient lighting, front illuminated door sills, and satellite radio.
ML 350 trims get 19-inch wheels; the ML 550 comes with 20-inchers and standard navigation.
ML 63 AMG models get 21-inch wheels, active curve system, air suspension with adaptive damping, engine start/stop technology, silver brake calipers, steerable bi-xenon headlights, highbeam assist, stainless steel pedals, leather dash, colour instrument cluster display with race timer, Harmon/Kardon stereo, and passive blind spot warning and lane keeping assist.
