NEW FOR 2012: - Redesigned model - V8 and AMG models discontinued The Mercedes-Benz M-Class is redesigned into its third generation for 2012, with new styling, a new direct-injection 3.5-litre gasoline engine, and revisions to the diesel engine for improved efficiency and performance. Only two six-cylinder models carry over into 2012; the previous ML550 and ML63 AMG models are not available for 2012. The M-Class is available as the ML 350 4MATIC, with 3.5-litre V6, and as the ML350 BlueTEC 4MATIC, with 3.0-litre turbodiesel. Both use a seven-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The two models are similarly equipped and include 19-inch alloy wheels, Thermatic automatic climate control, AMG exterior styling package, power-adjustable Artico-upholstered heated seats, garage door opener, rearview and driver’s side auto-dimming mirrors, power-folding exterior mirrors, LED taillights and daytime running lights, ambient lighting with three colour choices, power-adjustable leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, rear side airbags, power sunroof, tire pressure loss warning, navigation system, CD/MP3 stereo, Bluetooth connectivity, Sirius satellite radio, illuminated vanity mirrors, anti-theft alarm system, cargo cover, poplar wood trim, Smart Key remote, privacy glass, heated windshield washers, and smoker’s package. Available options include parking guidance, rearview camera, panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats, power liftgate, leather upholstery and bi-xenon headlamps.
