NEW FOR 2011: - CLS550 adds standard Premium Package, climate comfort front seats and 19-inch AMG triple five-spoke wheels - CLS63 AMG adds standard Premium Package, tire pressure monitoring system, AMG 19-inch forged wheels with performance tires, AMG limited-slip differential and AMG performance steering wheel. For 2011, the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is in its final year before a complete redesign; as a result, some features that were optional before are now standard. The CLS550 adds standard 19-inch AMG wheels, climate comfort front seats, and the previously optional Premium Package of multi-contour front seats, rear window sunshade, electric trunk closure, heated rear seats and Keyless Go. On the CLS63 AMG, this includes 19-inch forged wheels, AMG limited-slip differential and performance steering wheel, tire pressure monitoring system, and the Premium Package of climate comfort front seats, rear window sunshade, electric trunk closure, heated rear seats and Keyless Go. The optional AMG Performance Package now includes an AMG sport suspension and carbon fibre interior trim, front splitter, mirror housings, rear spoiler and diffuser, and deletes the electronic speed limiter. The CLS-Class is available as the CLS550, with 5.5-litre V8 and seven-speed automatic transmission, and the CLS63 AMG, with 6.2-litre V8 and seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission. Features on the CLS550 include 19-inch alloy wheels, four-zone automatic climate control, air suspension with adaptive damping system, COMAND APS with hard-drive navigation system, Harman/Kardon Logic7 surround sound system, Sirius satellite radio, media interface, Bluetooth connectivity, active bi-xenon headlamps with washers and cornering lights, heated washers, two-stage rain-sensing wipers, ten-way power climate-controlled multi-contour leather front seats with three-position memory, heated rear seats, electric trunk closure, Keyless Go, rear window sunshade, black bird’s-eye maple trim, heated leather-wrapped multifunction wheel with power tilt and telescopic column, power sunroof, auto-dimming rearview and driver’s side mirrors, trunk pass-through with ski sack, Parktronic parking sensors, garage door opener, cruise control, first-aid kit, and tire pressure loss warning system. The CLS63 AMG adds AMG Nappa leather upholstery, limited-slip differential, and performance steering wheel with shifter paddles.
