-Keyless-Go offered as a stand-alone option
-Heated seats and media interface now standard
-New available versatility package
Following a full redesign for 2013, Mercedes-Benz is slowly filling out its compact B-Series' lineup. This year, the big addition is an AWD option, borrowed from the CLA- and GLA-Class models with which the B shares its underpinnings.
All models use a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine capable of 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque; a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is the only one offered, and as we said off the top, it can be paired with front- or all-wheel drive.
All B-Series models include engine auto start/stop, comfort suspension, electric parking brake, 17-inch wheels, halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights, heated side mirrors with electric adjustment, seven-inch audio control screen, ambient lighting, heated front seats, ?Artico? leather upholstery, maniual single-zone climate control, media interface, manually-adjustable front seats, Nappa leather-trimmed steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and a split-folding rear seat.
Standard safety items include attention assist, collision prevention assist plus, adaptive brake with hold function.
An available premium package adds backup camera, blind spot assist, panoramic sunroof, COMAND navigation, automatic climate control, and a back headliner.
The versatility package brings a garage door opener, auto-dimming rearview and driver's side mirror, 12-way power driver's seat with power lumbar, power folding side mirrors, keyless start, upgraded folding seats including a folding front passenger seat and fore-and-aft adjustability for the rear bench, and a storage package.
A sport package adds direct steering, black Artico/Dynamica upholstery, AMG styling, carbon-look trim, 18-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, gloss black grille, black headliner, and AMG floor mats.
Stand-alone adds include park assist, satellite radio, LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, and keyless go.
