Mercedes-Benz B-Class

This is my 2nd review, 2+ years later into my ownership. Anything bad? No, knock on wood. CVT works fine and I am still amazed at the heater...I start the car and in less than 1 minute it is pumping out heat! Winter tires make this car secure in the winter, otherwise all season tires make it dangerous, so buy the right tires for the car and weather. If you can afford a MB, surely you can afford winter tires? Gas mileage is still good, at 95K kms, I still get 35mpg city and over 40 on the highway (imperial gallon). Nothing broken. CVT: some have reported issues. You MUST let the car warm up in cold weather for a few minutes and then drive it moderately, don't stomp on the pedal. Also when you shift from drive to reverse to drive, FULLY STOP the car and let the transmission 'catch up'. Otherwise you are stressing it. I learned this from a MB service tech, so there you go. Any failures are due to this he said. Car looks distinctive and unique and mine, being a 2011, is the last model year for the B200 (mine is non turbo) so all the updates, etc. were applied to the final year before it became the B250 which I find does not look as nice or distinctive.
