NEW FOR 2015:
-Lineup trimmed to single GT model with 25th Anniversary package
In anticipation of the all-new MX-5 set to arrive next year, the 2015 lineup is reduced to the top-end GT model, fitted with a special 25th Anniversary package that includes, among other things, 17-inch gunmetal wheels, black exterior trim, white leather seats with red stitching, more red stitching throughout the cabin, and alloy pedals.
As before, the sole engine available is a 2.0L four-cylinder making 167 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque, which can be mated to either a six-speed manual transmission, or a six-speed automatic. Last year's five-speed stick is gone, along with the GX and GS trims.
Standard kit includes a limited slip differential, sport suspension with Bilstein shocks, fog lights, HID headlights, power mirrors, windows and locks with intelligent keyless entry, automatic air conditioning, seven-speaker stereo with auxiliary input and satellite radio, cruise control, Bluetooth, tilt steering, auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated seats, and a height-adjustable driver's seat.
Opting for the automatic deletes the limited slip differential and upgraded suspension.
