It's easy to gush about the Mazda MX-5. This diminutive roadster is one of the purest driving experiences you'll find for family-sedan money, thanks to fabulous handling and a fun powertrain. The MX-5 has evolved since its 1989 debut as the Miata, but this car has not lost its youthful feel. This is driving fun at its simplest, with a manual convertible roof you can raise and lower with one hand from the driver's seat.
