History/Overview
Mazda added the CX-30 to its lineup in 2020, bolstering the brand’s small
crossover offerings. The CX-30 is classified as a subcompact, making it part of a growing trend of SUVs aimed at buyers at the entry-level end of the marketplace.
What’s New/Key Changes From Last Year
New for 2022, all CX-30 models come standard with AWD, and GT now offers an optional advanced visibility package.
Available Trims
Mazda sells the CX-30 in GX, GS, and GT trim levels. GX is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine. GS and GT get a 2.5L motor, and GT can be optioned with a 2.5L turbo mill. Common to all models are AWD and a six-speed automatic transmission.

Other GS upgrades include a heated/leather-trimmed steering wheel, dual-zone A/C, heated side mirrors, and 18-inch wheels.
