Issue:
On one vehicle, the compliance label and tire and loading information label located on the B-pillar may not be attached properly and could fall off. As a result, information about the vehicle, such as cargo carrying capacity and tire pressures would be missing. This could lead you to overload the vehicle, which could cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Safety Risk:
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Maserati will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a dealer to install the labels.
Issue:
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear.
Safety Risk:
A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Maserati will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the radio software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Maserati dealership.

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French.
Safety Risk:
This error does not affect vehicle safety.
Corrective Actions:
This is not a recall. Maserati has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.
Issue:
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause an incorrect fuel level to be displayed on the instrument panel cluster. As a result, the driver may be unaware of how much fuel is in the tank, and the vehicle could run out of fuel and stall.
Safety Risk:
A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Maserati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the body control module software.
