Issue:
On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 24C24 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-463) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required.
When using the key fob "global close" feature to close the windows, a software problem could cause the window automatic reversal system not to work. If this happens, a window may not stop and retract after detecting an object. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.
Safety Risk:
A window that closes with too much force could create a risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the driver and passenger door module software.
