Sharing its platform with the Ford Flex, the three-row MKT comes with a choice of two engines: a naturally-aspirated 3.7-litre V6, or 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6, which uses twin turbochargers and direct injection to provide the power of a V8 with the fuel efficiency of a V6. Both use a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and paddle shifters, and both are all-wheel drive. The MKT comes in a single trim line, with available options.
