The Lexus GS F is a high-performance mid-size luxury sedan that builds on the brand's mainstream GS model, which is covered in a separate buyer's guide entry. Introduced in 2016, the GS F has remained fundamentally unchanged since then, and moves into 2020 with no changes.
Available Trims
The GS F comes in a single trim with no options. Power is from a 5.0L V8 engine and an 8-speed transmission that feeds the rear wheels.
Standard Features
Exterior and mechanical features include an adaptive variable suspension, Brembo brakes, 19-inch wheels and tires, variable intermittent wipers with a wiper de-icer, a carbon fibre rear spoiler, and auto-leveling triple-beam LED headlights.
Inside, the GS F comes with a garage door opener, a power trunk closer, a rear window sun shade, a 17-speaker stereo, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, navigation, heated front and rear seats, 8-way power front seats, leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a heated/power-adjustable steering wheel, LED ambient lighting, a head-up display, 3-zone automatic climate control, and a sunroof.
The GS F safety package comprises blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision detection with automatic braking, automatic high beams, radar cruise control, and lane departure alert with steering assist.

Lexus's fuel consumption estimates for the GS F are 14.9/9.7 L/100 km (city/highway).
Competition
