We have thought about Land Rovers for years but were nervous about the reliability aspect. Despite the fact that the LR3 is one of the most reliable Rovers ever made we decided to buy used one from Autoform in Vancouver and they provided us with a 4 year warranty which is some serious piece of mind. This car makes you feel great, the ride is gorgeous, you sit nice and high and the interior is luxurious without being pretentious. Buying an older one meant we could take it off road without being all worried about it and it is a beast off road, there is something awesome about crawling over gnarly rocks and roots whilst sitting in luxury, so cool! We mostly bought this vehicle for the vast amounts of interior space and it really delivers. So many great things to say about this vehicle and it is jam packed with really amazing technology. It really is not like anything else, the Land Rovers are truly special vehicles. Go for it!

On certain vehicles, the wiring that connects the steering column rotary coupler (clockspring) to the driver's airbag module may fracture as a result of relative motion between the clockspring and the steering wheel hub. This may result in the deployment of only one stage of the dual stage airbag during a vehicle crash of sufficient severity, or cause the airbag to not deploy at all. Should the airbag module fail to deploy in the intended manner, it could increase the driver's risk of injury or death. Correction: Dealers will insert alignment spacers into specific areas of the steering column.

Certain vehicles may have an incorrectly manufactured guide plate which could hinder the function of the transmission parking pawl. Consequently, PARK may not engage when the lever in the vehicle is moved to PARK and all indicators show PARK position is achieved. If the vehicle was parked on an incline of sufficient grade, and the parking brake was not engaged, the vehicle could roll away. Correction: Dealers will replace the parking pawl guide plate.

Certain vehicles may have been manufactured with a seat belt mounting buckle whose tensile strength is below the required standard. In the event of a crash, where the left hand second row seat belt is being used, the buckle may not be fully retained. Correction: Land Rover has corrected all affected vehicles prior to distribution to dealers.
