An all-new model for 2010, the Kia Soul undergoes several changes for 2011. Four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control are added to the 1.6L model, making these features standard on all models. New illuminated power window buttons, an improved trip computer and revised instrument cluster improve the interior, the exterior door handles are changed, and monotube shock absorbers improve ride quality.
A new Luxury trim line adds body-coloured bumpers, rear-view camera, automatic climate control, Smart Key with pushbutton start, leather upholstery and a centre console armrest.
The Soul is available with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder that comes strictly with a five-speed manual transmission, or with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder with five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic transmission. The 1.6-litre comes in a single trim line, with available air conditioning. The 2.0-litre comes as the 2u, 4u, 4u Retro, 4u Burner, 4u SX and 4u SX Luxury.
